Abstract: Lighting management in dragon fruit cultivation plays a crucial role in determining plant productivity and farmer yields. Dragon fruit plants (Hylocereus spp.) have a unique characteristic: they flower at night and are strongly influenced by light intensity and duration. This study was conducted to assess the impact of artificial lighting on increasing dragon fruit productivity. The research method included direct observation of cultivated fields using supplemental lighting and interviews with farmers to compare production results before and after the implementation of this technique. The study findings show that the use of LED lights with specific wavelengths can accelerate the flowering process, while increasing the quantity and quality of the harvest. Furthermore, optimal lighting management can also extend the harvest period and reduce dependence on the natural flowering season. Therefore, implementing artificial lighting strategies can be an effective and sustainable alternative solution for increasing dragon fruit orchard productivity.
