Abstract: The purpose of this study is to improve students' learning outcomes of Integrated Science lessons on the material life of Indonesian society in pre-Hindu Buddhist and Islamic times through discussion methods. Subjects in this study are students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Sei Dadap kab. Asahan TP. 2016/2017. The result of pre-research process about life material of Indonesian society during pre-Hindu Buddhist and Moslem period through discussion method and work of IPS Integrated learning group reach learning completeness classical 56,91%. after being motivated, the research through cycle I and cycle II of reflection and recommendation of average value reach 85.17% means there is an increase of 28.26%. Learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average value of 68.06 after cycle I and done reflection and recommendation average value reached 84.31 means an increase of 16.25. Can be concluded the application of discussion method can improve student learning outcomes class VII SMP Negeri 1 Sei Dadap kab. Asahan TP. 2016/2017. Hasil proses belajar sebelum penelitian tentang materi kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia pada masa praaksara Hindu Budha dan Islam melalui metode diskusi dan kerja kelompok pelajaran IPS Terpadu mencapai ketuntasan belajar klasikal 56,91%. setelah termotivasi dilakukan penelitian melalui siklus I dan siklus II refleksi dan rekomendasi nilai rata-rata mencapai 85,17% berarti ada peningkatan sebesar 28,26%. Hasil belajar pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 68,06 setelah siklus I dan dilakukan refleksi serta rekomendasi nilai rata-rata mencapai 84,31 berarti terjadi peningkatan sebesar 16,25. Dapat disimpulkan penerapan metode diskusi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sei Dadap kab. Asahan TP. 2016/2017. Kata kunci: diskusi, masa praaksara, Hindu, Budha, Islam

Abstract: The purpose of this study aims to improve teacher sprofesionalisme through supervision activities of KBM in Elementary School 057228 Petani Jaya district Sei Lepan. The results showed teacher professionalism in learning planning at SD Negeri 057228 Petani Jaya sub-district of Sei Lepan after supervision of teaching and learning activity through class visit in good category. This can be proven by the results of the assessment of learning planning in the first cycle reached an average score of 71.35 included in either category, then in cycle II reached an average value of 83.70 included in either category. Improvement of teacher ability can be proved from result of pre-cycle pre-cycle appraisal show average 68,82 and in cycle I increased by 11,96% with average value 80,78, then in cycle II increase again equal to 10,38% to 91.17 with very good category. Improvement of teachers ability in pre-learning / learning planning is also followed by the improvement of teachers' ability in implementing learning in the first cycle reached a value of 71.35 and in the second cycle reached an average value of 83.70, then an increase of 12.35%. Keyword: supervision, learning activities Abstrak: Tujuannya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sprofesionalisme guru melalui kegiatan supervisi KBM di SD Negeri 057228 Petani Jaya kecamatan Sei Lepan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Profesionalisme guru dalam perencanaan pembelajaran di SD Negeri 057228 Petani Jaya kecamatan Sei Lepan setelah supervisi kegiatan belajar mengajar melalui kunjungan kelas dalam kategori baik. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan melalui hasil penilaian perencanaan pembelajaran pada siklus I mencapai nilai rata-rata 71,35 termasuk dalam kategori baik, kemudian pada siklus II mencapai nilai rata-rata 83,70 termasuk dalam kategori baik. Peningkatan kemampuan guru tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari hasil penilaian pra pembelajaran pra siklus menunjukkan rata-rata 68,82 dan pada siklus I meningkat sebesar 11,96% dengan nilai rata-rata 80,78, kemudian pada siklus II meningkat lagi sebesar 10,38% menjadi 91,17 dengan kategori sangat baik. Peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam pra pembelajaran/perencanaan pembelajaran tersebut sekaligus diikuti dengan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran pada siklus I mencapai nilai sebesar 71,35 dan pada siklus II mencapai nilai rata-rata sebesar 83,70, maka terjadi peningkatan sebesar 12,35%. Research subjects of students in grade IV as many as 20 students. The results showed an increase in learning participation from 20% at baseline to 80%, and at the end of the second cycle to 100%, as well as the increase in the average grade continued to increase from 57.00 at baseline to 66.00 in cycle first, and at the end of the second cycle to 76.00, with a 10% improvement of learning completeness at baseline, to 50.00%, and in the last cycle to 100%. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the use of the application of methods of group work can increase the participation and student learning outcomes on subjects IPA students on the material to identify the properties of objects based on observations including solid objects, liquid. This research was done to predict the cumulative achievement index of students STMIK Royal Kisaran is based on students' academic history at the time of senior high school. This research will inform the student for early anticipation in following the lecture in order to get the maximum learning. The method used in solving this problem is by the method Decission tree C.45 algorithm starts from the formation of the decision system as preliminary data have attribute values and decision condition. Then calculate the entropy of each attribute. Calculating the highest gain value which would then be used as nodes. Determining Following the decision of the result tree Decission process using if-then logic begins from the highest to the root of the lowest roots. This research resulted in 7 pieces of pattern rules (rule) as a basis for predicting student achievement of learning outcomes. Keywords: data mining, algorithm C.45, learning Outcomes.

This study aims to describe the discrimination found in Tere-Liye's Amelia novel. To obtain the data used structural theory. The method used in this research is qualitative research method by way of descriptive analysis. The reason the authors use these methods because the authors attempt to describe the discrimination contained in the novel that became the object in this study. Data collection in this research is done by literature review technique and documentation technique. The author uses this documentation technique by reading the data source in the form of a novel with the purpose of identifying the data in accordance with the theory used. After obtaining research data, further analysis of research data is done by content analysis techniques. The process of data analysis is done by mastering and understanding the novel elements, identifying and analyzing discrimination. The results of data analysis show that there is discrimination contained in Tere-Liye's novel Amelia. the discrimination contained in the novel is the attitude of the community that does not allow the youngest child to go to school outside the region, the lack of freedom to express opinions, the youngest child in the family must stay and stay at home. This study is focused on the speaking skill of M.Ts. Muhammadiyah students on grade VIII because the writer saw that their speaking skill is still so low. Role-Play is a classroom activity which gives the students the opportunity to practice the language. In this study, the writer used the experimental research design which it needs the pre-test and post-test to know their progress in speaking. In experimental, there are control class (conventional class) and experimental class. The writer have to make the treatment for experimental class so that it can be seen their progress after doing the treatment before taking the post-test. In findings data, the writer has got the score of control and experimental classes’ pre-test; the control class average score is 60 and the experimental class is 63, 47. The post-test score average, control class is 65,21 and experimental class is 81,73. In pre-test, the lowest score either in control class or experimental class is 50 and the highest is 80. In post-test, the lowest score is still 50 and the highest score is still 80 , but in experimental, the lowest score is 70 and the highest score is 90. The value of the t-test is 5.41 and it means that 5,41 > 2.66. Finally, the t-test is higher than t-table for both the significance level. (5.41>2.00 and 5.41>2.66). The study is aimed to find out whether there is a significant difference in the speaking ability between the First Semester of STMIK Royal in Kisaran who were taught by Technology video and those who were not, in the academic year of 2016/2017. This research was classified as a quasi-experimental study. It involved 68 students of two groups for mojoring information System, semester 1 for class G as the experimental group and Class H as the control group. The experimental group was taught using video, whereas the control group was taught using the module-based technique for English Speaking Club (ESC) at STMIK Royal in Kisaran. The results of the research show that there is a significant difference in the English speaking Club (ESC) between the students who were taught by video and those who were taught by using the textbook-based technique. The significance value calculated 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 (P-value = 0.000 < 0.05). Therefore, the hypothesis of this study is accepted. It means that the video technique significantly improves the students’ speaking ability in the English teaching at Stmik Royal in Kisaran for ESC.
